Estee Lauder is the parent company that owns twenty-seven brands that manufacture skin care, cosmetics, hair care as well as perfume and fragrances. There is an extensive lineup of fragrances from Estee Lauder, several of which are very popular.

With a strong fruity-floral beginning, the Pleasures Bloom fragrance eventually mellows down into the woody musk-patchouli scent at the end, which is so popular in perfumes these days.

White Linen is one of the oldest fragrances by Estee Lauder still in production today. First launched in 1978, the White Linen perfume has inspired a collection of perfumes bearing the White Linen name and perhaps the most popular amongst these is Pure White Linen.

While White Linen is a strong fragrance, Pure White Linen is more feminine but not girly or sexy. It is a scent that is very pleasant and likable but not something you might fall in love with.

The addition of fruity-floral notes and the sheerness make this much more wearable than the original, but that also means that Pure White Linen has lost the personality and depth of the original.
