Biotherm Fragrances, Shower Gels and Body Sprays

Biotherm is part of the L’Oreal luxury products divisions and is mainly known for its skincare and cosmetics products. However, Biotherm also has a range of fragranced body sprays, shower gels and creams that smell wonderful, with most of them being perfect for the summer season.

The following are the Biotherm perfumes and fragrances currently available: Eau de Paradis, Eau D’Energie, Eau Pure and Eau Vitaminee.

The Biotherm Eau de Paradis is the latest Biotherm perfume and is available in the form of Eau de Toilette, scented bath and body lotion. Released in 2010, it has a very summer feel to it with top notes of Italian lemon, red fruits and berries. The middle notes are rose and freesia, to give it a flowery middle and ends with a woodsy base note of Lebanese cedar, sandalwood and musk.

Next up is the Biotherm Eau D’Energie with orange, mandarin and citrus top notes. Middle notes are cyclamen, apricot and jasmine while the base notes are musk and cedar. While most Biotherm perfumes are quite similar, the Eau DEnergie is lighter and more pleasant.

One of the great things about the Eau D’Energie is that it is not cloyingly sweet unlike some perfumes and fragrances, which quickly makes them uncomfortable or even unbearable.

The Eau DEnergie is available in the form of a body cream, shower cream and Eau de Toilette.

The Biotherm Eau Pure was launched in 2008 and is a light and sweet scent in keeping with other fragranced Biotherm products. Top notes are kiwi, rhubarb, grapefruit, lime and lemon.

Middle notes are green tea and lotuse while base notes are patchouli, musk and oakmoss. While in reading it sounds like a very citrusy and possibly sweet scent, it is actually quite light and some have found that it smells like waterfalls or reminds them of the summer even when worn in winter.

While Biotherm fragrances are not everyone’s cup of tea, they are light, sweet and feminine and are great for wearing in the summer.

One thing to remember is that most of these are body sprays so their lasting power is not as good as you might expect. However, if you wear this on top of a scentless moisturizer, it can last you throughout the day.
